Once screwed into your regular license plate mount, there is only 1 cord that needs hooked up. This is the cigarette-lighter power cord.
Simply run this power cord into your car, in the easiest way possible for you. For some this may be to run it through your firewall. For others, this may be to simply run it underneith your vehicle and into the corner of your driver side door.

We usually ship domestically within the United States via USPS, UPS, FedEx or Amazon.
Is PlateVanish legal?
Yes, PlateVanish is 100% legal. When it's in the "open" position, it acts as a regular black license plate frame. It does not obstruct any part of your license plate. It is only illegal to obstruct your license plate on a public road way. So, we recommend to only hide your license plate in off-road situations where authorized on private property.
Does it have a remote control?
Yes, every PlateVanish comes with a remote control fob. Our remote is designed to be fully undetecable and looks like a regular key fob for your car. It has 2 switches, 1 to open your cover revealing your plate and 1 to close your cover hiding your plate.
Is it easy to install?
Yes! PlateVanish was designed for fast hassle-free installs. With PlateVanish, there is 1 connection wire that comes out from the license plate frame. This wire has a cigarette lighter attachment on the end. You simply just run this wire inside your car and plug it into a cigarette lighter to give your cover power. After that, it's fully installed! The remote control is wireless and already paired to your cover.
